Technical Information: All TwosTools™
prints are limited editions, signed and individually numbered by Scott
Friedlander using permanent archival ink. The edition number
refers to the total number of photographs that will be printed in addition to
the artist’s proofs. Images were photographed
using color or black-and-white 35 millimeter film. Each negative is then
drum-scanned, a technique that produces high resolution images with extremely
fine detail and color rendition. Scott Friedlander edits the scanned images
for color and contrast accuracy, creating digital files for prints with
sharpness and accuracy that surpass traditional darkroom methods. All photographs are
Digital Type C-prints output on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper. The
resultant archival quality prints have an estimated life of at least 60 years
without any noticeable fading under normal viewing conditions, which can be
even longer if covered with conservation glass. Prints are mounted using
archival quality materials including acid-free custom bevel-cut mat boards,
archival linen tape, and polypropylene mounting corners. Mat board color is
white. Please refer to the Care &
Handling of your Original Artwork page for framing
recommendations. |
